Medical Faculty Associates, a non-profit, academic multi-specialty medical
group practice in Washington, DC, is committed to providing the local and
international community with excellence in healthcare. The Department of
Emergency Medicine at GW has an established focus of primary prevention through
public health and wellness within the community.
The Department of Emergency Medicine at The George Washington University (GW)
has extensive experience training government agencies, national institutions,
health care practitioners, first responders, and aypeople throughout the U.S.
and across the globe. We have been practicing emergency medicine for over 37
years. Our activities are focused in the area of emergency medicine
consultation: maritime medical access, critical patient transport,
establishment of emergency medical services and systems, and consultation in
the area of tactical emergency and disaster planning.
